Jcc: Homer’s Iliad - Achaeans vs. Trojans

The year is 1250 BCE and tensions are high as the Achaeans and the Trojans muster their armies and prepare for war. The beautiful Helen has been abducted from King Menelaus of Sparta. Odysseus and others roosted the soldiers from our constituent cities. Led by our fearsome military leader Agamemnon, we will sail to Troy and bring Helen back to her rightful home. The gods’ favors are split between the two sides, with Athena, Hera, and Poseidon supporting the Acheans. The gods may decide the outcome of this war, but we will fight for our glory all the same.
