LETTER FROM THE SECRETARY-GENERAL

Dear Delegates, Advisors, and Friends,

It is my honor to welcome you all to &MUN XIII, a collegiate Model United Nations conference hosted by the International Relations Club at William & Mary. After twelve years of growth and improvement by secretariats, staff, and attendees, I am thrilled to invite delegates back to historic Williamsburg, VA, April 10-13, 2025 for a weekend of challenging debate, insightful conversations, and fun social events. 

&MUN and the IRC at W&M have maintained and expanded on a tradition of excellence over the past eleven years. This secretariat hopes to carry on this tradition by hosting a conference that develops and elevates the inner workings of good, moral, and effective diplomacy. Respectful, mutually-beneficial cooperation is vital to correcting the global conflicts and international injustices we see today.

&MUN prides itself on providing a memorable experience for delegates outside of the committee room. We believe that the meaningful connections and friendships forged through Model United Nations are equally as important as the professional skills learned in committee. To facilitate this, &MUN will host a variety of events over the conference weekend that are open to all delegates, building an positive social environment.

The &MUN XIII Secretariat and the International Relations Club at William & Mary have many exciting plans for this conference, and we hope to have you join us for what promises to be the best &MUN yet!
