Meet the Secretariat
Kelson Lowrie
Secretary-General
Kelson is a junior from Somerset,NJ majoring in International Relations. He has been involved with IRC since freshman year, serving on &MUN and WMHSMUN secretariat during this time. He is a member of WM’s travel team and has done MUN since HS. Outside of IRC he does Club Swim, and is an active member of the Russian program at WM. When not busy with MUN stuff, he can be found searching for birds in the woods or cooking.
Collin Dunham
Director-General
Collin is a junior from Norfolk, VA majoring in Geology with a minor in Geospatial Information Systems. He joined IRC as a sophomore and fell in love with the hobby, traveling to several conferences for the William & Mary team and staffing several more. Outside of IRC he can be found collecting and identifying rocks, planning his next D&D session, or going to Cookout.
Quinlan Duprey
Under-Secretary General—Crisis
Quinlan is a sophomore from Bedford, NH majoring in Government and Economics. He has traveled to many conferences with William & Mary IRC, as well as directed at &MUN XIIV and other W&M conferences and being USG-Spec for WMHSMUN XXXIX. When not doing Model UN, he spends his time working on and off campus, playing rugby, doing ROTC, and studying.
Daniel Porter
Under-Secretary General of General assemblies & Specialized Agencies
Daniel is a sophomore from Montgomery, New Jersey majoring in International Relations and minoring in German. Having joined IRC in Fall of his Freshman year, Daniel has served as a leader of the William and Mary travel MUN team as well as directed committees for both our high school and middle school conferences respectively. Beyond MUN, Daniel spends much of his time getting lost down Wikipedia rabbit holes, playing table tennis, or exploring woods around campus.
Elise Howe
Director of Registration
Elise is a sophomore from Dallas, Texas, double majoring in Public Policy and Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics. She has been both a MUN competitor and organizer since she began high school and has enjoyed travelling with the W&M team to conferences over the past year and a half. Beyond Model UN, Elise enjoys performing with her sketch comedy group, playing bells with her handbell-choir, debating for the debate team (APDA circuit), subjecting the world to her music on her weekly radio show, and of course, being with friends.
Kristen Valendo
Chief of Staff
Kristen is a sophomore from Fords, NJ majoring in Government and Economics. With IRC at William & Mary, she has traveled to conferences and previously directed committees at WMHSMUN, WMIDMUN, and &MUN. Kristen also recently served as Chief of Staff for WMHSMUN XXXIX. Outside of Model UN, she spends her time working as a Resident Assistant, visiting the sheep of Colonial Williamsburg with friends, and watching hockey
Alex Deas
Director of External Relations
Alex Deas is a sophomore from Alexandria, VA majoring in Government and Data Science. He is the USG-GA for William and Mary’s high school conference and travels to conferences to represent the College. When not at Model UN, you can find him working as the student manager for the Men’s Soccer team, competing with Club Sailing, working in Swem, or watching the Commanders in Lodge 1.
Mark Cole
Director of Media
Mark is a current Junior studying International Relations and History at the College of William & Mary. Mark is the current Vice President of Campus of the William & Mary International Relations Club. Mark plans to pursue a career in academic research on border conflicts and the implications of international law. He also serves as IRC’s VP Campus.
Alonndra Santiago Negron
Director of Events
Alonndra Santiago Negron is a sophomore born in Chicago and raised around the world, majoring in International Relations. She has been involved with IRC since freshman year, and has been a part of multiple conferences as a director and a delegate. Outside of Model UN, Alonndra holds a leadership position in her social sorority Pi Beta Phi & a member of Latin American Student Union (LASU), Pre - Law Society, and Catholic Campus Ministry. She spends her free time giving tours of William & Mary, working at her internship, spending time with her friends, or at her favorite place Swem third floor locked in on homework.
Hailey Robb
Charge d’affaires
Hailey is a freshman from Nashville, Tennessee and is thinking about majoring in education. This is her first year with IRC, but she has been involved with MUN since her freshman year of high school and is excited to be on &MUN secretariat this year! In her free time, Hailey enjoys reading, being outside, and spending time with friends. Outside of William and Mary, she spends the summers working as a camp counselor in Tennessee.
